Invisible in AI answers
Strong Google rankings, yet your brand doesn't appear when buyers put the same question to an AI.
AI Search
Your buyers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews before they open a single search result. Traditional SEO alone no longer covers the full discovery path.
We make your brand the one those answers cite, and connect that visibility to pipeline.

People still use Google, but an increasing share of research and shortlisting now happens inside generative AI.
Strong Google rankings, yet your brand doesn't appear when buyers put the same question to an AI.
When AI is asked who to shortlist, it names other companies in your category and not you.
Pages that aren't structured for language models to extract, quote and attribute.
Nothing tracks how often AI engines cite you, or how that compares with your competitors.
A baseline of how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews currently answer your buyers' real questions. Citation rate and share of voice.
Structure content so it becomes the direct answer in AI Overviews, featured snippets, People Also Ask and voice results.

“Our leads tripled in just six months. The team's strategy and hands-on support made all the difference.”
“What stood out was the focus on clarity and credibility. Ballistic didn't just build a website — they helped us shape how Evolet shows up as a serious, long-term EV brand.”
SEO, AEO and GEO
What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO earns rankings and clicks in traditional search results. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) structures content to be the direct answer in AI Overviews, featured snippets, People Also Ask and voice results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) makes your passages, entities and data easy for generative engines such as ChatGPT and Perplexity to extract and cite. They overlap, and strong SEO is the foundation for both.
Do you optimise for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude?
Yes. We baseline and monitor how each of them answers your buyers' questions, then work on the pages and signals that influence those answers. Each engine behaves differently, so we track them separately rather than treating them as one.
How we know it's working
How do you measure success (citations, share of voice, assisted pipeline)?
We track citation rate (how often engines cite you for a fixed set of prompts), share of voice against named competitors, and the pipeline that AI-referred visits and mentions assist, using your analytics and CRM where available. The prompt set is agreed up front so results stay comparable month to month.
How long until we see AI citations?
It depends on your starting authority, how competitive the topic is and how quickly pages can ship. Pages that already rank can move within weeks; building entity and topical authority takes months. Nobody can guarantee a citation, so we report movement against your baseline rather than promising a date.
How it fits
Can this work alongside our existing SEO programme?
Yes, and it should. AI engines lean on well-structured, authoritative, crawlable content, which is what a good SEO programme already builds. We work with your in-house team or current agency, reuse their research and avoid duplicate pages or conflicting changes.
Do you only do strategy, or full execution?
Both. Some teams want the audit and a roadmap their own people execute; others want us to ship the content, schema and technical changes and run the tracking. We scope the engagement to whichever fits.
Tell us the questions your buyers ask. We'll show you what AI says today and what it would take to change it.
